"Failover of systems at Jet, matter of a few clicks..." by Prathamesh Bhope

At Jet, we have a multi-region setup for our systems. Having a microservices architecture based off of Azure Cloud brings us the flexibility of building cutting edge systems along with some interesting and complex challenges. To have a reliable e-commerce website serving customers 24x7 we need to maintain high resiliency standards and build a highly robust platform to bear multiple failure scenarios. To sustain these unexpected incidents we have built a Golang based tool which helps us failover our complex systems across regions easily and safely. We would like to introduce you to this awesome tool of ours which we lovingly call 'Groot'.
